Requesting donations isn’t something anyone really wants to do but something that sometimes just has to be done.

Here at I Lol’d At This we’re a pretty small fish in a gigantic ocean that is the Internet. To survive and eventually grow the help of our visitors (and more importantly our regular visitors) is imperative.

A donation doesn’t have to be monetary. If you’ve ever submitted a photo, commented, rated a post, shared a link or subscribed then you’ve already contributed to helping I Lol’d At This.

There are however times when bills need paying and sadly the taxman doesn’t accept love as a form of payment.

Still not convinced?

Well as an incentive we’re offering a couple of perks to donators who help us out.

The first is a monthly thank you post to the donator who has contributed the most in the previous month. The donator will be contacted and asked if they wish to include a link to a website of their choice (as long as it isn’t anything naughty), a write-up of said website and an image of their choice.

We know it’s not much for the donation of your hard earned money but if you’ve got a website you’d love to promote it’s a great way to doubly help out.

The second is a mystery prize for each 50th donator (50th, 100th, 150th…). These prizes will be announced as and when each milestone is reached.

Remeber, any amount is appreciated and will go some way to improving I Lol’d At This in the near future.
